In an age where ‘reverb’ is the new ‘cowbell,’ the bottom line is all that matters. 55 Water Street. Capital Investment. 20% quarterly growth. The fate of many teeters in the balance of decisions made over liquid lunch, and there is little room in the equation for some good old rock tunes. Like most things, that’s only a problem if you make it one. That’s why we forgo the whole banquet and slang cds to the first impressionable teen or John Q. Public that passes by.
Jesus Jim plays non-denominational rock n roll, ‘road music’ if you will. And while there may not be a place in our 21st century world for a rock n roll band, we have no choice. The hall of mirrors is full of impossible symmetries – clown copies without substance accrued over time through theft and so-called ‘influence.’ Coming up in the 90’s as we did, it is hard not to laugh at it all.
You wont see us in the magazines, or on blogs, or any websites. But Jesus Jim will play for you. After all, life in the spiral is not without its charms.
